My dream is not minimizing interaction, it’s dropping the security theater entirely and being able to move through an airport like it’s the 90s.

That looks like a bad idea, most airports have quick pass for frequent fliers, so self serve kiosks will rarely work, especially seeing as how most airports will not have the same ones. It does look like a fun indy torture the npc sims game though.

Can I just have comfortable seats? Have we invented that yet?

It’s all about the ocular patdown.

My air travel dream is no gross feet being shoved on me from behind, no crying babies, and no one deciding to have a temper tantrum over nothing right as we’re trying to depart.

My dream is to only need to arrive 15min before the flight.

We don’t have shit security because we lack the technology/software to do it, we have shit security because of human policies/decisions. A random “system” isn’t going to help with that much. That’s why they focus on things that make people *feel* safe, but doesn’t actually make things much safer. Last year I accidentally boarded a plane from a major airport with a pocketknife, simply forgot to unclip it from my pocket, but I guess I felt safe the entire time?
