The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced an investment of $60 million to support the development of clean hydrogen technologies and the improvement of the electric power grid. The funds will be used to advance research and development of hydrogen production, storage, and utilization technologies, as well as to support the integration of renewable energy sources into the grid. The goal is to reduce emissions and increase the reliability and resilience of the nation’s energy infrastructure.

By federal funding standards, that’s a tiny investment
>Funding will reduce the cost of clean hydrogen, deliver more jobs and reduce fossil fuel reliance.
Funny way of saying a few people will make millions upon millions while several other companies will make smaller amounts to essentially do nothing.
60M doesn’t “Advance Clean Hydrogen”. 60 BILLION maybe. 60mil looks good as a headline and makes a few people a payday.
Am I crazy, or isn’t coal a primary input of US hydrogen production?
