How to filter results to only find dark web results?

I run a YouTube channel where I arm-chair investigate fringe sciences. Right now I’m creating a video essay on Hermetic societies and my Google searches have run dry so I’m turning to Tor and Duck Duck Go but it’s pulling up pretty much the same websites as Google was. I’m a newb to this but is it possible to filter so I don’t see any of the resources I’ve already exhausted on the surface web? My apologies if I got any of the terms wrong, I only have a very basic understanding of all this. Hope you’re having a good day.

DDG doesn’t index onion services.

This does though https://ahmia.fi/

Good luck. Onion services aren’t the vast awesome landscape of weird esoteric resources that people think they are. There are very few of them and most of them are scams trying to take your money.

Its just duckduckgo, the same duckduckgo as on the surface web… You have to find a search engine that supports and crawls onion sites. I think a lot of searx.space instances support onions and there are a lot of dark web search engines. Ahmia(I presume this link is legitimate, I obtained it from protonvpns blog), http://juhanurmihxlp77nkq76byazcldy2hlmovfu2epvl5ankdibsot4csyd.onion, is one of the safer sites because of their blacklist of “abusive and dangerous sites”, as in they don’t (knowingly) index illegal sites. If you’re researching the hermit kingdom, I don’t know how flagrant the conspiracy theories and such are on the dark web compared to the surface web.

By fringe sciences, you probably mean fake science. What makes you think there’s some secret motherlode of flat-earthers and assorted quacks on the dark web ? The clear web, and even the mainstream media are full of them.

If you haven’t found them, you haven’t been looking at the right places. Here is one :

You don’t need Tor for this.
