When I first started using an IV, I was a bit apprehensive. After all, it was a foreign concept to me and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after doing some research and talking to my doctor, I was able to get over my initial fear and take the plunge.
The first step was to make sure I was well-prepared. I read up on the procedure and asked my doctor any questions I had. I also made sure to have a friend or family member with me for moral support.
Once I was ready, I took a few deep breaths and tried to relax. I reminded myself that the procedure was going to be quick and relatively painless. I also focused on the fact that I was doing this for my health and that it was going to help me in the long run.
When it came time for the actual procedure, I was still a bit nervous. But I was able to get through it by focusing on my breathing and reminding myself that it was going to be over soon.
After the procedure was done, I felt relieved and proud of myself for taking the plunge. I was also thankful that I had taken the time to prepare and that I had a supportive friend or family member with me.
Getting over the first IV shot can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. With the right preparation and support, you can get through it and reap the benefits of IV therapy.
