#Microsoft #reportedly #plans #turn #Edge #crypto #NFT #wallet
If I already have a ledger am I not better off just buying it right from ledger live?
I’m trying to understand why I should use a third-party service such as Cash App or Coinbase to purchase cryptocurrency, and then transfer it to
Imagine if Microsoft, of all things, made crypto go mainstream.
More like adding a wallet to it instead of turning it into a wallet. Author doesn’t like crypto at all LOL “One feature reportedly in development could be the worst example yet: a crypto wallet.”
Edge would finally have some utility then
They could give away free BTC every time someone uses Edge, and people still wouldn’t use it.
Still, good to see more adoption.
If Microsoft gets involved with crypto, that is huge for adaptation
If Microsoft gets involved and makes some money from this I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before competing companies join in.
New Bing+Crypto? My god. In the year of our lord 2023, is Edge about to become my favorite browser?
So is going to try to make a microsoft-controlled browser LEAP into the way and force itself to be the default wallet after every windows update
Micro$oft
No not edge please, it’s a nightmare
Trying to withdraw funds:
Microsoft – download this 2 hour update first!
Edge Coin incoming!
We certainly getting more adoption in the bear market than in the whole previous Crypto history.
I hope it needs updates at least 4 times a day that require a restart. And always when I’m typing something out and I agree to reboot because it interrupted my typing with a pop-up prompt.
Some of the recent headlines sound like satire, feels like the crypto world is in its teen phase now.
This would be cool, with Bing/GPT integration right beside it.
If someone is learning how to use their digital wallet or a dApp for the first time they can ask *it*, instead of finding themselves learning from SEO-BS articles written specifically to scam them.
Microsoft isn’t sleeping as much as I thought. This could be really great.
Trying to copy Brave. Still won’t make people use Edge lol
TLDR:
>Twitter user Albacore, who has a history of turning on and documenting in-development features in Windows and Microsoft apps before they are announced, shared screenshots of a crypto wallet in development for Microsoft Edge.
>
>Microsoft Edge walks you through setting up a secure password for your crypto wallet, and once you’re done, you can send and receive cryptocurrency. It’s not clear which cryptocurrencies are supported, but Coinbase and MoonPay are listed as options for purchasing and depositing crypto, and cryptos like Ethereum and Dai Stablecoin are visible in the screenshots.
I’ll stick with Firefox. Chromium browsers kinda suck

Can’t wait until it’s hacked on the first day.
“Microsoft products”
Might as well be useful for something
it’s a trap! with all the security exploits, viruses, call center scams, etc. normies will get jacked. the feds will use this as an excuse to shut down crypto. joking….but sorta not.
Seems like they really want to give their browser an Edge over the competition…
Bill Gates doesn’t want anything but complete control. This doesn’t excite me at all.
Who’s even using Edge anymore?
Good move because hardly anyone use it for browser anyway.
If this is true, and Microsoft starts shilling crypto and NFTs then we might even catch EOY 2021100K, that’s how bullish this is overall.
Brave is way ahead of Microsoft
They’re at the stage that they gonna try anything to make Edge work
