You could ban Crypto, ban the internet, ban everything, and some old dude would still lose his life savings in a scam of some kind.

Scammers aren’t the problem. The problem is people’s own stupidity and dumb greed. If you think rationally you won’t ever fall for a crypto scam.

Risking everything you own to a stranger over the internet is not a crypto problem, its a decision making problem.

Greed can destroy you, how many times have you heard don’t put all your eggs in one basket. They used his greed against him.

My parents warn me about scams, then nearly fall for one. It’s like the most ironic thing.

I find it funny that when I was a kid in the 90s, boomers were raising us to not believe everything we see on the internet. Because today, they’re all getting rekt by scams or or sharing misinformation. What happened?

Older people are vulnerable to scams. That’s the way of the world. Especially in more developed countries where people can quite easily mimick banks, building societies, pension providers and other financial institutions.

Crypto or no Crypto… This man was distant to be scammed. I mean there are stories like this all over the news… How do you not do 2 seconds of research? It sucks, but there is a reason these Nigerian Princes exist.
