Black-Raider8

1. The Basics of Bitcoins and Blockchains by Antony Lewis
2. Mastering Bitcoin: Programming the Open Blockchain, 2nd edition by Andreas M. Antonipoulos
3. Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor’s Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar
4. The Truth Machine: The Blockchain and the Future of Everything by Michael J. Casey and Paul Vigna

– I didn’t read them, I wouldn’t understand anyway. Just trying to be honest. This is what Bard suggested. From Google’s AI.
– I would love to see some documentaries instead! I’m more of a visual learner.

As a marketer, I likes Amanda’s new book “Web3 Marketing”

fxralyn

Did you assume people here reading books?

Omnomnomnivor3

Blockchain Basics is the only one I’ve encountered, I must say I like reading and learning through the web instead of writeups

* The Bullish Case for Bitcoin

Cptn_BenjaminWillard

**Bitcoin Billionaire**

**American Kingpin** (related, not directly about crypto)

Anything that Andres A has published, ie. **Understanding Bitcoin** and **Understanding Ethereum**

I got into a lot of books about privacy because of crypto

For people starting to learn about crypto this is good and it’s a free download, although it looks like it hasn’t been updated in a few years (but that shouldn’t matter):

**Mastering Monero** was a good one, although more technical.

Sugar_Phut

Definite The Bitcoin Standard. It’s an essential read for anyone dedicated to this space.

Weisseisen

Wow, your crypto book list is on point! 😊 I’m also fascinated by the history and people behind crypto. “The Missing Cryptoqueen” is a total rollercoaster of a story, right? 🎢 Can’t wait to dive into “Bitcoin Billionaires” and “The Cryptopians” too. Got any other recommendations in this space? 📚

The_Chorizo_Bandit

“The long road to freedom”

– ~~Nelson~~ *Nakamoto* Mandela.

Softwar by Jason Lowery

Disastrous_Chain7148

Crypto is a crazy space filled with greed, scam, betrayal, devotion, and countless hacks. The history of crypto can be written into a game of thrones series. Somehow I am surprised no one in Hollywood haven’t made a movie out of it yet.

1078Garage

Not really “about crypto” but American Kingpin on Ross Ulbricht and Silk Road will bring you to tears when they mention the amount of BTC being moved around for a bag of weed

Affectionate_Cow3076

I advise everyone here to read ‘Trading for a living’ by A. Elder.
Amazingly written book, it gives all the basic information thag we need to approach trading, focused in the psycology of the trader.

Curatole

Blockchain basic by daniel drescher and the infinite machine by Camilla Russo. You can also exchange your candies at coingecko for How to Defi if you’re looking to put money into Defi.

Not a crypto related book as such, (but does have a section on Bitcoin) called “Broken money” by LYN Alden

It’s a really good read, it tells us about how money came about, why it’s failing us, and what we can do to make it better

emailemile

I don’t really see a need for one, crypto gets updated with new features all the time so your book is bound to be outdated in a few years.

simplicity92

I thought it should be HOW TO BITCOIN 101?

Noxage_88

The daily in this sub!

cannedshrimp

A Progressives Case for Bitcoin is a fantastic intro resource for anyone who hasn’t been exposed to bitcoin. It’s a quick and easy read.

Also, I have not read it yet, but having listened to an extensive number of podcasts about the book and knowing Lyn Alden’s writing, her new book is likely amazing. Frankly, some books like the Bitcoin standard do some things really well, but are too caught up in their own beliefs to be convincing or approachable to a wide audience. “Broken Money” supposedly takes a broader approach at the history of money and how Bitcoin fits in technologically and socially.

Edit: will also add that Saifedean is a terrible ambassador for the bitcoin space if you actually want to see broad adoption.

ripple_mcgee

Try The History of Money by Jack Weatherford (audiobook available). If you want to understand crypto, you need to understand the origin of money.

Has a few chapters in digital money and crypto, but what really gets me is the story of a Babylonian kings son named akkad, and his dad gives him a bunch of gold and kicks him out the house to make something of himself, akkad falls for scam after scam but eventually learns how to protect himself.

CaesarAllMighty

To be honest, I enjoyed The Sovereign Individual- James Dale Davidson and Lord William Rees-Mogg.

moonkingdome

Btc standard. Reading softwar right now. Althou the concept is nice im not yet convinced.

Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson

vnielz

Nah i am good. I already have one book

satoshi_oscar_wilde

My favorite crypto-related book is The Bitcoin Standard by Saifedean Ammus. It’s the only crypto book I’ve read that didn’t make me feel like I was being sold on something.

PARTY_H0RSE

I highly recommend “How to Defi”

I got a free PDF of it on CoinGecko using the candies you get for the daily logins

FootballBat69

Yall read on here?

Intelligent_Page2732

My favourite Crypto related book is reading the white papers of projects, I yet have to read a Crypto related book.

Any recommendations?

coatchecker

Hopefully our collective favorite piece of literature will be the annual Lamborghini catalogue.

dpatou23

“An Institutional Investor’s Take on Cryptoassets” by John Pfeffer isn’t a book per se, but it’s a really good read on long-term investing and real-life applications of Crypto.

This document helped me realize, even until today, that when it comes to crypto, Bitcoin is the way.

Silver-dutch

Books?

I’m more a “watching documentary” type

lch970324

Thanks for the books suggested. I am the opposite of you. I know technical analysis more rather than these. Will take a look for these books if free

Matth3w_95

“Proof of stake, the making of Ethereum” by Vitalik himself is a great read. I’ve found myself in trouble in some passages because it’s not easy at all though.

Ai_Art_Bug

Do we consider the BTC whitepaper a book yet?

changhuanese

I don’t have any favorite in general… but for sure I can write a book with all my mistakes during my crypto journey and might become a best seller

UniqueSample1309

Haven’t read one. Probably will when I have some time. I might read one from the comments in this post.

sultankid

We crypto bros don’t read book. We believe in x1000 token

whisky_fox

The order book.

Maximum_Sign2804

I am too busy shitposting on Reddit, so no time to read books!
