Just need to buy a cold storage wallet and send you BTC from exchange to that cold wallet
Install BlueWallet on your Android or iOS, make a backup of the recovery seed on paper, send funds to an address of the wallet. Done.
To increase the security, make a secondary paper backup of the seed and delete the seed from the device again.
To increase the security further, get a cold storage wallet. That means the seed is never touching a device that’s connected to the Internet. There are generally two methods to do that:
1) Buy a hardware wallet, like Trezor (https://trezor.io) or ColdCard (https://coldcard.com).

Cold card trezor and ledger all popular wallets. I’d suggest doing some research and watching YouTube videos to see which you like the best. As I’m sure you will see in research the private key phrase is the most important part. Never store online or in phone notes. Anything connected is a point of failure.
As for moving off exchange it will be pretty simple. You will send from exchange to the private key associated with that wallet. Again their will be YouTube videos walking through the process
